From Sydney via F3 freeway:

It takes about two and a half hours from Sydney to Congewai.

Take the Cessnock/Kurri Kurri exit. At the top turn left.

Proceed 4 kms to roundabout at Freemans Waterhole (Mobil Garage on left). Over the hill which goes through Brunkarville into MT Vincent about 5 kms. 

Turn left into Sandy Creek Rd – Quorrobolong. Follow this road through Quorrobolong to Ellalong (about 17 kms). Drive through Ellalonggoing past the primary school on your right followed by the pub also on the right. The Ellalong swamp/lagoon is on your left. Once you come to the first intersection, turn left into Congewai – Congewai Rd. (its about 3 kms to the turn off into Congewai at Paxton hill from Ellalong).

Follow this road (no need to turn off). You will past a small school on your left before the dirt road. Over the bridge onto the dirt road. (7 kms tar & 8 kms dirt).

We are on the left with a brown drum letter box with our number hanging underneath – 1529. There are cattle yards and a small yellow bulldozer in the drive way.

NOTE: All property numbers are measured from the turn off e.g. 429 is about 4.29 kms from the intersection. Just follow the numbers.

From Pacific Highway:

Stay on the Pacific highway through Raymond Terrace, over bridge turn right at the lights at Hexham. Through roundabout on John Renshaw Drive to Kurri Kurri.

Follow sign to Cessnock (through Weston & Neath). Follow Mailand road into Cessnock, stay on this road (wollombi road) through lights, roundabout, past school on left & garages. Continue through Bellbird. Once you come out of Bellbird go under train line pinch and take the second left into Middle Road.

Follow into Paxton. At the intersection you will over look the swamp/lagoon on the left. Straight ahead to Congewai.

This is Congewai road.

Follow road to 1529 Follow this road (no need to turn off). You will past a small school on your left before the dirt road. Over the bridge onto the dirt road. (7 kms tar & 8 kms dirt).
